Cell Phone Tower Technology

As the demands of the ever growing world of communication increases, the emergence to have more cell phone towers also comes up. These towers are also known as cell phone base stations. These base stations are basically the free standing structures which works as antennas. We can for a more clear idea of base stations, call them as "cell sites", which are defined as the area serviced by an antenna array within a service provider's network. Following have been given the different forms of base stations which will clearly help to distinguish between the distinctiveness of the towers:
BROADCAST TOWERS:
These are the ones which are mostly found either on the hilltops or in the outskirts of cities. Reason being that they cover up a big amount of space which is not possible to hire in cities or urban areas. They accommodate a big space for AM/FM radios and television antennas. Their weight depends on the kinds of services they extend. It can weigh from around 454 kg(s) to 18 tons. All these radiocast towers have wires connected to the ground anchor. These ground towers are also capable of covering a large amount of ground space and are mostly planted in such spaces where best resources of transmitting signals are possible.
THE GUYED TOWER:
These are the towers which are more or less like rods which has wires attached to the ground for the support. They are low even on the pocket to be constructed. It can reach upto 350 ft in height and can also raise beyond that.
CONCEALED TOWERS:
These towers are set out keeping in mind the zonal codifications and in order to harbor to the surroundings these towers range in different sizes. They are cost effective also as compared to the other towers. The requirement of the "concealed appearance" has to be kept in mind during the construction. Along with this, these towers provide less  proportions to tge leaseholders.
THE LATTICE TOWER:
Also known as the "self-support tower" or tge SST as it stand free. It can range from 200-400ft in height. It usually is of a triangle shaped base with three and at times four sides. This tower is basically used for the purpose of telephony.
THE MONOPOLE TOWER:
This looks mostly like a single tube like structure, whose height can range from 100-200ft with the antennas at the top  edge of the tower. And just like lattice cell tower lease Buyouts, monopole tower's major role is also telephony.
